Bureau Veritas has entered the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) 2019 World and Europe rankings at #2 in the Professional Services industry.
RobecoSAM and S&P Dow Jones have announced the results of this year’s Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) assessment. In its very first entry in the DJSI index, Bureau Veritas was named the second-most responsible company in the Professional Services industry, among 33 other companies.
Bureau Veritas achieved a score of 75/100, compared to an industry average of 38/100.
This recognition speaks to the deeply held commitment to social and environmental responsibility at the heart of the Group’s mission and values. To better support our clients in their own CSR initiatives, we continue to develop new sustainability solutions. Notably, this year saw the launch of Circular+, a comprehensive suite of services that support companies’ transition towards a more circular business model. Both directly and indirectly, Bureau Veritas is fully dedicated to CSR.
Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index is the world’s most widely recognized benchmark for corporate sustainability. Only companies deemed to be leading the way in addressing sustainability risks and opportunities are selected for inclusion in the DJSI.
